Scientists Extract Proteins from 68-Million-Year-Old Tyrannosaurus

Hmm. Let's read on.

I have a question. When two assumptions are proven impossible to coexist, which one is the incorrect assumption?

Could it be that scientists are correct that proteins can't survive a long period of time before breaking down? My money is on that.
