Baseball Doesn't Kill People, Grandparents Do
Not only are two innocent people dead, but the killer did not survive to be prosecuted and suffer from what he has done.

A few pieces of my mind.
Not only are two innocent people dead, but the killer did not survive to be prosecuted and suffer from what he has done.

Well, well, well... It looks like the Pope has outraged many Muslims by truthfully talking about their religion. People are entitled to their opinions aren't they?

There's been a great deal of misinformation in the media lately about global warming. Let's set the record straight with provable facts instead of suppositions.
"On the matter of Earth's recent climate history, it is implausible that despite variance in solar irradiance Earth has had a stable temperature for the last 1,000-2,000 years. History instructs us this is not so, literature tells us this is not so, and a large spectrum of paleotemperature reconstructions tell us this is not so. [The media's] representations are obviously wrong, regardless of how politically correct their concept of human culpability might be."Please take time to peruse this article and other articles on Steven Milloy's site, then tell others.
Excerpt from JunkScience.com 's If "global warming" is real, what could be causing it?

Five years ago, the world was attacked. The attack was made on American soil. The World Trade Center and the Pentagon on were hit. The Pentagon is repaired. The World Trade Center is being rebuilt.
Hateful pagans cannot change our society for the worse. Instead of instilling fear, they inspired us. We fought back. If you were to swoop in and kill and bear cub, would it's mother not hunt you down? The bear is awake.
These godless people have not stopped their terror. They continue. Should we not continue?
Hamas, Al Quaeda, and Hezbeollah do not get it. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Evil in this world cannot be allowed to persist.
If terrorists do not want to be hunted and killed, then they shouldn't be terrorists. No one is born a terrorist, it's their choice.
Terrorism must be stopped. If this means killing all terrorists, then so be it. Death to Allah.
Praise be to God. Let Him soften the hearts of the terrorists so that we may have peace. Let Him be with our leaders and give them the wisdom and strength to continue the fight against terror. Let Him be with the voters of America this fall and give them the faith to vote for the continuing betterment of the world. Let Him soften the hearts of the Liberals who wish to allow evil and terror to persist.

I would call myself an open-minded person. I believe that people should be able to live how they want, so long as they don't interfere or harm others, and they don't try to make me agree with what they are doing.
But there is an accident that has been waiting to happen, and tonight it happened. I was sitting on the toilet and reading an article about education and parenting in a popular women's magazine. But let me give you some background first.
Writers in order to not offend having been ignoring grammar which has a non-gender-specific pronoun: he. They sometimes substitute "he or she" or use "she" instead. Some authors try to craftily switch between masculine and feminine pronouns during the articles.
Well, as I said, I was sitting there on the toilet and minding my own business. The author, who couldn't have known better since she was only a high school English teacher, switched between "he" and "she" so quickly and often that I almost felt my neck snap into pieces.
I'm seriously considering getting a lawyer. This whiplash is killing me.
Okay, sarcasm aside: PLEASE, if you're going to ignore grammar at least be consistent. Don't insult our intelligence. We're adults. We can handle proper grammar. Just stop slapping us in the face with overabundant "PC"-ness just to make it look like your a good guy. (For those of you who disagree, substitute "girl" for "guy" on that last one.)

Everyone always wants more. Bigger value, less cost. Super-size for only a quarter more.
Well one industry was listening. Cigarette producers have increased the addictive chemical nicotine by about 10 percent in the last decade.
And to their credit, they didn't even announce it. They weren't doing it to boost sales or get new users. There was no advertising stunt involved. They simply wanted to give the public what every consumer wants: more.
Wasn't that nice of them?
