Dead in the Water???

Here we go again. Stories are springing up everywhere about "Global Warming" zapping the ice caps. (See, MSNBC: Arctic summer could be ice-free by 2040)

I have yet to see any story give us data to support this. What fact's are in the stories? Researchers (what researchers, how many) have written a computer model that predicts based on current greenhouse gases acceleration.

How accurate is their computer model? Well, evidently, not enough. Facts (see Junk Science from the Link section of this web site) indicate that the temperature is fluctuating but not rising. Facts are that so-called greenhouse gases attribute less than 0.01° C. Currently as I write this blog, by the way, the global mean temperature 10.26° C. And for those of you who would argue that we're almost to winter, I'll remind you that the Southern hemisphere is almost to summer.

What could be the reason for such misinformation? Money.

Without misleading findings, these "scientists" wouldn't be able to receive funding to look for more "problems" to fix.

Without misleading findings, big companies that will remain nameless in this article can't sell equipment creating to fix the "problems".

Who lobbies Congress for regulations and studies? Environmental groups? Sure. But Big Business spends by far the most money lobbying for measures and contributing to the environmental non-profits. These companies have a product to sell. Environmentalists and the Media are buying right in and passing along their message.

The N Word

I've thought about commenting on the Michael Richards debacle, but I didn't have anything constructive to say.

I applaud Paul Mooney's response. Read this:

Courts making law; Read the constitution

New Jersey's Supreme has apparently decided to misinterpret the constitution; Twice!

Infringement number one: They are forcing the state legislature to to create a new statute. Excuse me, the judicial branch had the sole job of interpreting the law. They are not to decide that new laws are needed.

Infringement number two: They decided that homosexuals should have the right to marry people of the same sex. It seems that they think that homosexuals and heterosexuals do not have equal rights uner the law. Excuse me, but when was the last time the heterosexuals were allowed to marry people of the same sex? What's next? Just because pedophiles want to marry kids, should we let them, too?

Note to the courts: Read the constitution. If you need reading glasses, let me know.

Baseball Doesn't Kill People, Grandparents Do

Not only are two innocent people dead, but the killer did not survive to be prosecuted and suffer from what he has done.

Apologies Accepted Here

Well, well, well... It looks like the Pope has outraged many Muslims by truthfully talking about their religion. People are entitled to their opinions aren't they?

I'm sure the Muslims will get their apology just as soon as Osama Bin Laden apologizes for comments about Christians and Jews and murders of thousands of citizens of the world right after Hamas leaders apologize for endless comments about and murders of innocent Israeli civilians.

Islam is a hateful religion. Now I'm not saying all Muslims are hateful people. Sure they're going to Hell, but that's the plight of all who don't see the endless love of Jesus Christ and receive his gift of eternal life. But some of them are good people.

Islam teaches that to kill innocents is the path to heaven. Christianity teaches that the path to heaven is righteousness. But no one can obtain righteousness without the forgiveness offered by Jesus Christ.

Religion based on fear cannot endure. Love your neighbor as yourself. Only one religion--the true Religion--is based on love, hope, and faith.

Praise be to God. Hear our prayer for all your children to see the love and forgiveness You offer to each and every one of us. Soften the hearts of those who ignore Your Truth.

Global Warming: Searching for the Truth

There's been a great deal of misinformation in the media lately about global warming. Let's set the record straight with provable facts instead of suppositions.

"On the matter of Earth's recent climate history, it is implausible that despite variance in solar irradiance Earth has had a stable temperature for the last 1,000-2,000 years. History instructs us this is not so, literature tells us this is not so, and a large spectrum of paleotemperature reconstructions tell us this is not so. [The media's] representations are obviously wrong, regardless of how politically correct their concept of human culpability might be."

Excerpt from JunkScience.com 's If "global warming" is real, what could be causing it?
